OUR MISSION
The Cassidy Murray Foundation aims to help families who are plunged into grief following a tragic loss. Specifically, the foundation hopes to increase access to mental health resources including trauma and grief therapy. It will also work to expand educational opportunities for young people.
OUR REASON WHY
Cassidy Murray was a bright-eyed teenager with a beautiful spirit, genuinely kind heart, bright mind, and a joyful zest for life. We lost Cassidy in March of 2022 when she was just 13. She died tragically in a water-tubing accident on a family vacation in Aruba. Cassidy was a precious soul whose endearing personality, infectious smile, and genuine warmth made her a friend to all. She was the embodiment of the quote written on her wall:
“Let your smile change the world but don't let the world change your smile!" Cassidy was the light of our lives. Together, in her name, we will be a guiding light for others.
